The Cape Town Electronic Music Festival

The Cape Town Electronic Music Festival has announced its 2018 festival dates, which will take place in Cape Town from 6 to 8 April 2018. For the first time since inception, the festival will no longer be held in the first week of February.

Established in 2012 as a platform for South Africa’s flourishing electronic music culture and industry, CTEMF continues to garner global recognition for being one of the most representative and forward-thinking events on Africa’s music festival calendar

In addition to the festival’s new dates, CTEMF has also announced plans to expand their satellite events to Durban for the very first time with CTEMF events taking place in Durban and Johannesburg on 6 and 7 April 2018 respectively.

CTEMF will also be playing host to a three-day series of free workshops and showcases, in which industry luminaries from around the world cross paths with South Africa’s established and up-and-coming talents to share stories, skills and insights. The expansive three-day workshop programme will take place at various locations around Cape Town from 3 to 5 April 2018.

2017 headliners included Âme (Live), Coldcut, Peanut Butter Wolf, Heidi, Dave Clarke, Jazzuelle, Jullian Gomes and Portable AKA Bodycode.
